About Eranorris

Eranorris is a small, family-run collection of private villas on the south coast of Sri Lanka, in the neighbouring towns of Hikkaduwa and Rathgama. We are not a hotel chain or a faceless booking platform — we are a local family who look after each villa personally, welcome every guest ourselves, and treat your stay as if you were visiting friends.

Everything we do is built around personal hosting. When you book with us you deal directly with your host, not a call centre. We answer your questions on WhatsApp before you arrive, meet you at the villa, and stay reachable throughout your trip. That direct, family-run approach is what lets us keep our villas calm, our prices fair, and our welcome genuinely warm.

Our guests are mostly couples, slow travellers, digital nomads, and long-stay visitors who want to experience Southern Sri Lanka at its own pace — close to the beaches and lagoons of Hikkaduwa and Rathgama, but far from the crowds and noise of mass tourism.

Eranorris is run by Sarath, Kavindu and Suranga, the family behind every villa and every welcome. We began welcoming guests in 2021 — and hosting travellers from around the world has become something we genuinely love.

We live locally, so we are never far away. When you arrive, one of us will come to the villa to meet you in person, show you around, and help you settle in. Need a scooter, a home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast, a tuk-tuk to the beach, or a tip on where to eat? Just ask — as your personal hosts, we are here to make your stay easy.

Our Philosophy

We built Eranorris around a few simple beliefs:

• No mass tourism. We keep our villas small and private, in real neighbourhoods rather than resort strips.
• Personal hosting. A member of the family is always reachable, from your first WhatsApp message to check-out.
• Carefully curated stays. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped villas that feel like a home, not a hotel room.
• Experiences rooted in local culture. We share the Sri Lanka we know and love, not a packaged version of it.
